Below are two sample lessons from our Computing Scheme of Work; one for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2. The lessons are taken directly from our scheme and include all the 'downloadable' items provided with a lesson including a lesson plan, an interactive whiteboard file (in a range of formats) and supporting resources.
This lesson has been taken from our Year 2 Computing Scheme of Work, from Unit 5 "Towns and journeys". During this unit the children explore programming a robot or roamer to perform different sequences. This unit is presented in the context of creating routes on a town floor map. This lesson showcases the additional resources provided with All Teach schemes of work.
This lesson has been taken from our Year 4 Computing Scheme of Work, from Unit 5 "Doing more with formulae". During this unit the children develop key programming concepts through the use of spreadsheets. The children build on knowledge, skills and techniques and end the unit creating an interactive game using a range of formulae created through a spreadsheet. This lesson showcases the explanations provided to teachers and for learners within All Teach schemes of work.
